UCS Forest Group has officially rebranded as Spitz Group, a move the company says reflects both its 40-year history and its long-term growth strategy.

The new name establishes a unified parent brand for the organization’s family of companies and aligns its identity with the scale, structure and capabilities it has developed over four decades in the wood products industry.

“While our parent brand is changing, what defines us remains the same,” said Warren Spitz, Founder and CEO. “Our business has always been built on long-term relationships, deep expertise, and commitment to the people we serve. Spitz Group reflects our legacy as a family-owned company and positions us for the future.”

Under the Spitz Group umbrella, the company will continue operating through its established businesses, including Sierra Forest Products in the United States and Upper Canada Forest Products and A&M Wood Specialty in Canada. Each business will maintain its existing market focus and brand identity while benefiting from the resources and shared capabilities of the larger organization.

As part of the rebrand, the company also introduced Atlas Import, a new global sourcing and trading division designed to strengthen supply chain connections between international suppliers and North American customers.

According to the company, Atlas Import builds on decades of sourcing expertise and will enhance its ability to provide reliable access to quality wood products while supporting long-term customer and supplier partnerships.

Founded as a family-owned business, the company has grown into a leading North American distributor and importer of specialty wood products. Company leaders say the rebrand reflects continued investments in innovation, sustainability and customer-focused growth while remaining rooted in the values that have guided the organization since its inception.

With the launch of Spitz Group, the company aims to deliver greater value through expanded capabilities, broader market intelligence and stronger collaboration across its operating businesses.

“This is more than a new name,” said Spitz. “It’s a reflection of our belief that growth comes from partnership and that our future is built by continuing to show up for our customers, every day.”
