The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show is once again putting exhibit design in the spotlight.
KBIS has opened entries for its 2027 Best Booth Awards, recognizing exhibitors whose show-floor spaces stand out for creativity, execution and brand presentation. The program evaluates booths by both size and product category, giving exhibitors across the show floor an opportunity to compete for recognition.
For manufacturers and suppliers in cabinetry, surfaces, hardware, lighting and related product categories, the awards highlight the growing role of the booth itself as part of the brand experience.
A well-designed exhibit can do more than showcase products. At a major industry event such as KBIS, it can shape a visitor’s first impression, demonstrate applications in context and create an environment that helps designers, builders, buyers and media better understand a brand’s point of view.
The 2027 competition continues an expanded format introduced at KBIS 2026, with awards presented across several booth sizes and product segments.
At the 2026 show, Kohler captured both Best of Show and Best Plumbing Booth honors with its “House Party” concept, which featured spaces created by multiple designers.
Other 2026 winners included Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry for both Medium Booth and Cabinetry; Daltile for Grand Booth; Fabuwood for Large Booth; IKONNI for Small Booth; Cosentino for Surfaces; GE Appliances for Appliances; Plank Hardware for Hardware, Lighting & Accessories; and Cava Surfaces for Best New Exhibitor.
2027 Award Categories
The Best Booth Awards will recognize exhibits in the following categories:
- Best of Show Booth
- Small Booth — up to 600 net square feet
- Medium Booth — 601 to 1,000 net square feet
- Large Booth — 1,001 to 3,000 net square feet
- Grand Booth — 3,001+ net square feet
- Best Appliance Booth
- Best Plumbing Booth
- Best Surfaces Booth
- Best Cabinetry Booth
- Best Hardware, Lighting & Accessories Booth
- Best New Exhibitor
Exhibitors with multiple brands may enter either as a combined house of brands or as separate brand booths, but may not enter both ways.
Entries are free and will be accepted through Jan. 15, 2027. While judges may nominate noteworthy booths they encounter during the event, KBIS says submitting an entry is the only way to guarantee consideration.
Judging will take place on the show floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center during KBIS 2027. Winners will be announced live on NEXTStage from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4.
For exhibitors investing heavily in how their materials, products and brands are presented, the awards offer another opportunity to turn show-floor design into industry recognition.
