The 2026 NAFCD + NBMDA Annual Convention has announced its keynote and general session speakers for the Nov. 3-5 event in Dallas.
Former NFL running back and Hustle Clean CEO Justin Forsett will open the convention with “Greatness Grows Best in the Shadows: A Playbook for Building Resilient Teams.” His presentation will focus on perseverance, leadership and building strong teams through adversity.
Meridith Elliott Powell, researcher and keynote speaker, will close Wednesday’s programming with “Thrive: Turn Uncertainty to Your Competitive Advantage.” Powell will share her PROVEN Methodology and discuss how companies can remain flexible while continuing to pursue growth opportunities.
The convention’s final general session will feature Grace Schatz, managing director of economic consulting for ITR Economics, with “Setting Expectations for 2027 and Beyond.”
Schatz will examine macroeconomic conditions expected to influence businesses in 2027, including inflation, interest rates, labor conditions and geopolitical uncertainty. Her session will also address implications for costs, workforce planning, profitability and resource allocation.
The annual convention brings together members of the North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors and the North American Building Material Distribution Association.
NBMDA represents wholesale distributors and suppliers of wood panels, surfacing materials, cabinet hardware, finishes and related interior products, while NAFCD serves distributors and suppliers in the floor covering industry.
