The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) has opened applications for its 2027 Style Spotters team, inviting design professionals to participate in one of the furnishings industry’s most visible trend-forecasting programs.

Applications are being accepted through July 24 for the initiative, which selects a group of designers and industry influencers to identify standout products, emerging aesthetics and key design directions during both the Spring and Fall 2027 editions of High Point Market.

Chosen participants will serve as official Style Spotters, touring showrooms throughout Market to highlight innovative furnishings, materials, finishes and interior design trends. Their selections and insights will be featured through High Point Market’s website, social media channels and industry media outreach.

For professionals in the surface and panel industry, the program often provides an early look at the colors, textures, materials and residential design influences that can shape future demand across cabinetry, furniture, decorative surfaces and interior products.

“In addition to trend spotting, the High Point Market Style Spotters join a prestigious team of ambassadors for the world’s largest home furnishings trade show,” said Tammy Covington, President and CEO of HPMA. “Our signature program gives participants a unique opportunity to grow their brand and business connections within the industry.”

Since launching in 2011, the Style Spotters program has become a recognized platform for identifying emerging design talent while spotlighting noteworthy product introductions and residential interior trends from across the home furnishings sector.

Selected participants will attend both 2027 Markets and contribute content that helps designers, manufacturers, retailers and industry professionals track the ideas influencing future home environments.

Applications can be submitted through 5 p.m. ET on July 24, 2026. Final selections for the 2027 team will be announced early next year.
