The Union Tool Corporation has announced the retirement of Chuck Simpson after 43 years with the Warsaw, Indiana-based manufacturer, marking the next step in the company’s transition to fourth-generation family leadership.
Simpson’s sons, Chas Simpson and Nick Simpson, will take on greater ownership responsibilities as co-owners following their father’s retirement from day-to-day leadership.
During more than four decades with Union Tool, Chuck Simpson helped guide the company’s growth as a manufacturer of automated processing and lamination equipment serving customers worldwide.
“Our father has given over 40 years of dedicated service to Union Tool, and his impact on the company and our family is difficult to put into words,” Chas and Nick Simpson said in a joint statement. “His leadership, guidance and vision have helped shape the company we are today.”
The brothers said they plan to carry forward the company’s focus on innovation, manufacturing quality and customer service as Union Tool develops new and enhanced equipment for changing market needs.
“We have learned a great deal from him, both professionally and personally, and we will carry those lessons forward as we lead Union Tool into its next chapter,” they said.
Founded in 1944, Union Tool manufactures automated machinery and custom equipment for handling and processing flat sheets, boards and panels made from wood, metal, glass, plastic, fiber, foam and other materials.
Its equipment portfolio includes hot melt roller coaters, roller coaters, laminators, feeders, stackers and other specialized processing systems for manufacturers worldwide.
