Thermwood has promoted two employees into new roles spanning sales and marketing, elevating longtime team members Jacob Zellers and Chase Frye.

Zellers has been named an account manager in Thermwood’s Machining Products Division after serving for the past three years as the company’s trade show coordinator. In his new position, he will oversee sales and dealer relationships across roughly half of the United States. Zellers originally joined Thermwood in the Electrical Department, a background the company said gives him a practical understanding of its product line.

With Zellers moving into sales, Thermwood promoted Frye to trade show coordinator in the Marketing Department. Frye will manage execution and logistics for the company’s trade show schedule and exhibitions. He began his career at Thermwood in the Paint Department, bringing a hands-on perspective to the role, the company noted. Thermwood also highlighted Frye’s community service as a volunteer firefighter for Anderson Township and a reserve police officer in Cannelton.
The promotions reflect Thermwood’s focus on developing talent internally, the company said.
