(MINNEAPOLIS – January 13, 2020) – Safco® Products has named Scott Windelspecht Vice President of Operations, Workspace Products. Safco is part of the Liberty Diversified International (LDI) family of companies.
Windelspecht will be responsible for management of Safco’s three distribution centers, its Milford, IA, manufacturing plant and overall supply chain and lean operations strategies.
“We were impressed by Scott’s demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding results through the implementation of lean manufacturing and distribution methodologies, as well as his leadership in creating a safe workplace environment,” Stanley said.
As operations leader, Windelspecht assumes responsibility for Safco’s manufacturing, distribution, quality, safety, engineering and supply chain management teams.
Prior to joining Safco, Windelspecht worked in operations management for several manufacturers including NVENT, Parker Hannifin, TTM Technologies and Rockwell Automation.His roles included manufacturing operations management and plant management.
In the U.S. Air Force, Windelspecht’s roles included Cryptologic Linguist and Guidance System Control Specialist. He has a bachelor’s degree from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee and will be based at Safco’s headquarters in suburban Minneapolis.
