Peak Toolworks, a leading national manufacturer and servicer of engineered diamond and carbide cutting tools in the US and Canada, announced that Ron Bayus has been appointed to the role of President & CEO, effective immediately.

Bayus succeeds Kerry Baskins, who will continue to serve the company in an advisory role to Peak’s Board of Directors.

“Great companies with strong cultures also grow a deep bench of talent with clear succession planning,” said Baskins. “Ron has made a tremendous contribution to Peak over his five-year tenure and brings enormous energy, vision, and continuity to the organization. Peak is growing in every fundamental area and Ron helped drive that momentum. I couldn’t be more excited for Ron’s promotion, the future of the organization and the opportunity for me to remain engaged with the board.”

Bayus added, “I am looking forward to serving as President & CEO of Peak Toolworks. I have had the privilege of working with Kerry and the most talented employees in the tooling industry over the last five years. We have built a great culture at Peak and we will continue to stay focused on our ‘True North’ vision. Peak will continue to deliver innovative products and industry leading service, quality, and employee career development for years to come.”

Bayus continued, “We thank Kerry for his contributions to Peak over the last handful of years and look forward to his continued contributions as a Strategic Board Advisor.”
