Georgetown, ON. June 2nd, 2015 – Olon Industries, a leading manufacturer of mouldings, drawers and components for the cabinet making and furniture industry announced today the acquisition of Carolina Drawers Inc. based in Lexington, NC.

Carolina Drawers is an industry leading manufacturer of solid wood and plywood drawers for the US kitchen & bath cabinet and furniture industries. Olon’s drawer components offer focuses on Chinese plywood, particleboard-based products and wrapped drawer components. Conversely, Carolina Drawers offers an impressive collection of solid wood drawer components sourced from around the world, as well as a complete line of Baltic Birch plywood products. From their three plants, CDI is vertically integrated with operations spanning from kiln drying and rough milling through to UV finishing, dovetailing and drawer box assembly.
