McDermott Top Shop, a leading Midwest fabricator of premium surfacing materials, marked its 30th anniversary this month with a two-part celebration that brought together over 450 guests, including industry leaders, loyal customers, employees, friends, and families.
The celebration began with a Customer Appreciation Event on June 5 at McDermott’s 65,000-square-foot Jefferson facility. More than 180 customers, vendors, and partners gathered for an unforgettable afternoon featuring helicopter rides, live music, chef-prepared food, premium spirits, and product showcases—all designed to honor three decades of craftsmanship, innovation, and trusted partnerships.

The event also marked a significant leadership milestone: Travis McDermott was formally introduced as President, while company founder Ron McDermott remains actively involved as CEO. Guests toured McDermott’s nationally recognized, climate-controlled, dust-free fabrication facility, witnessing the operational excellence and safety standards that define the company’s approach.
