Helical insert nut

The Cabineo M6 may be bolted directly into metal components, or a threaded, helical insert may be used in solid- or sheet goods such as particleboard, HPL, or phenolic resin. The insert may also be used as a through-connection on shared partitions.

Lamello USA, a division of Colonial Saw, is pleased to announce the newest addition to the Cabineo family of connectors. Cabineo is gaining widespread acceptance here in the US with its great strength and very simple machining process which requires nothing more than a CNC router with standard tooling. The M6 version now opens up many more applications in a variety of otherwise-challenging materials to create a complete, one-connector solution!

Some of the benefits of the M6 version:

  • Very high clamping and tensile strength using insert nut (374 lbs in HPL)
  • May easily be used to connect wood and metal components via M6-threaded hole
  • Same easy machining as the standard Cabineo 12 and 8 versions
  • Very high wear-resistance. Components may be connected and removed many times without damage (think flat-pack furniture, removable panels, ADA-compliant configurations, etc)
