Montabaur, Germany – January 10, 2017 – Klöckner Pentaplast will present APET++ at CFIA in Rennes (France). Furthermore Klöckner Pentaplast will show a wide range of high-performance films at the CFIA in Hall 4, booth D74, March 7-9.
APET++ is an innovative mono PET-based technology for food products. It offers improved sealing properties even with contaminated sealing surfaces, as well as sealing at lower temperatures that will reduce utility costs. By improving the sealing surface the newly developed product meets the growing demand for highly secure packaged goods with sustainable materials. The kp innovation offers excellent transparency and is available as blank or colored film whilst always guaranteeing high shelf-attractiveness.
“Based on our APET++ solution we will also present the result of an interesting collaboration with Linpac”, says Roberto Santos, Marketing Director Food & Consumer Packaging EMEA. “We combined a rigid base web from Klöckner Pentaplast with a top lidding from Linpac.” The solution raises shelf attractiveness, it lowers total cost of ownership and it contributes to the Save Food initiative due to a possible reduction of food waste.
Collaborations like these can contribute significantly to the success of Klöckner Pentaplast’s customers. To get their ideas to innovation in a timely, cost-effective manner, customers rely on Klöckner Pentaplast’s kpGO approach. kpGO has been introduced to speed up the process from idea to implementation. Whether it is a new product feature, optimization of the manufacturing process or a new business model, working collaboratively with Klöckner Pentaplast, customers can evaluate the prospects of success and the profitability of their idea. A short video on the Klöckner Pentaplast YouTube Channel or on www.kpfilms.com summarizes the idea of the kpGO approach.
