Formica Group and ConvenientPower Systems Announce Partnership to Develop Wireless Charging Infrastructure

CINCINNATI (Jan. 3, 2018) — Imagine charging your devices simply by placing them on a Formica® Laminate surface.  It will soon be possible, with the announcement today that Formica Group and ConvenientPower Systems have formed a strategic partnership in the development of scalable wireless charging infrastructure.  Together, the companies expect to bring new solutions to market in 2018.

The partnership brings together two global companies known for innovative leadership. Formica Group is a worldwide leader in the design, development and manufacturing of surfacing products for residential and commercial spaces. ConvenientPower Systems is recognized for its leadership in wireless power charging technologies and products that offer new dimensions in freedom and convenience for users of mobile electronics.
