Conestoga Wood Specialties Announces Exciting Innovations and Advancements to its Very Attractive, Affordably Priced Le Marcin Range Hood Line

For designers and customers who want great looks, high quality, design flexibility, easy ventilator installation and service access…all at great price points, there’s Conestoga’s advanced Le Marcin Range Hood program.

Conestoga has taken their already successful line of Le Marcin Range Hoods and added three new models, in styles that complement Traditional, Transitional, and Shaker cabinetry designs…available in Cherry, Hard Maple, and Paint Grade Hard Maple with MDF center panels.

Le Marcin LM6 Range Hood

Model LM5 takes elegance to a new level with an attractive arched valance and under-shelf moulding buildup. LM6 allows designers to incorporate the same door styles as the accompanying cabinetry, incorporating two or three doors, depending upon overall hood width. Model LM7 features a visually compelling 4-1/2” wide x 8” high mantle shelf capped with decorative moulding. Additional styling features include display shelves with a choice of six edge profiles and routed grooves for safe, easy plate display; 14 panel raises, a variety of framing beads and optional corbel packages for select hoods.

Le Marcin Range Hood construction goes the extra mile in terms of both durability and practicality. All models are constructed with plywood cases with full backs and bottoms that can be easily trimmed to accommodate most any ventilator system. Plus, LM6has functioning doors for easy access to the vent system, while both the LM5 and LM7 feature removable panels for equally convenient access. All models also feature a top stretcher to ensure stability and squareness. Range hood fronts are crafted of ¾” thick solid wood or with wood framing and MDF center panels if Paint Grade is selected.

When it comes to practicality “under the hood,” all exposed hood bottom surfaces are covered with an anodized aluminum laminate with stainless steel finish, enabling the entire hood bottom to serve as a liner. This larger liner provides extreme flexibility when it comes to selecting a ventilator system, with removable bottoms to make cutting ventilator openings a breeze. These metalized laminate liners also offer enhanced safety and “greenness” for the indoor environment, boasting a Class 1/A fire rating and GreenGuard Indoor Air Quality Certification.

Jeff Eichenseer, Conestoga Director of Marketing and Product Development, explains, “We conducted quite extensive product and market research prior to developing our Le Marcin advancements with regard to design, functionality, and practicality. And we’re very excited about how our team has interpreted and incorporated the insights we gained. Adding to that excitement, we’re able to offer all of this Le Marcin beauty and practicality at price points 15% to 40% below many of our competitors’ offerings.”

“At Conestoga, we’ve always taken this more holistic approach when we push our craft to new levels – always with a well-rounded view to quality craftsmanship and great value for the dollar. And we’re proud of how our Le Marcin Range Hood Collection has matured in that fashion.”
