Biesse America has appointed Clinten Butts as Regional Sales Manager – Wood for the West Coast, effective June 15, as the company continues expanding its sales and customer support network across North America.

Based in the western region, Butts will oversee sales activities for Biesse America’s wood division and report to Mike Johnson, Sales Director – Wood.

Butts joins the company with several years of experience in woodworking and industrial machinery sales, having worked closely with manufacturers, distributors and end users throughout multiple territories. Throughout his career, he has focused on helping customers identify manufacturing solutions that improve productivity and support long-term business growth.

Prior to joining Biesse America, Butts held both sales and sales leadership roles within the woodworking machinery industry, developing expertise in territory management, dealer and distributor relationships, and customer support.

According to Biesse America, his appointment reflects the company’s continued investment in providing regional expertise and responsive service as manufacturers increasingly seek integrated production solutions.

The company supplies a broad portfolio of equipment for the wood processing industry, including CNC machining centers, edgebanders, panel saws and integrated software designed for cabinet, furniture and architectural millwork manufacturers.

Beyond equipment sales, Biesse America emphasized its continued focus on lifecycle customer support through technical service, operator training, software assistance and spare parts availability—resources intended to help manufacturers maximize productivity and long-term equipment performance.

In his new role, Butts will serve as a key point of contact for West Coast customers, connecting manufacturers with Biesse’s machinery, automation technologies and after-sales support network.
