"Uniboard’®s 2017 collection will include the most realistic finishes in the thermally fused laminate market.’’
Laval, Quebec – August, 23, 2016 – Uniboard, a North American leader in engineered wood products and the original creator of the first synchronized (EIR) texture technology in North America, is proud to announce the launch of three new finishes that are more natural than ever: Riviera Oak, Calico and Sequoia. The launch of the 2017 collection will include 17 new colours inspired by the authenticity of nature’s beauty. Manufacturers, distributors, designers and architects can discover these new feature products at the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) from August 24 to 27 in Atlanta.

Riviera Oak by Uniboard is the first 2nd generation double sided synchronized finish produced in North America, combining subtle detailing with delicate nuanced gloss variations to improve even on nature’s beauty. Following Brushed Elm launched 3 years ago, the latest addition to the synchronized finishes is truly Redefining WoodTM. The secret of the new texture is based on a perfect balance between different gloss levels that offer a 3-dimensional look both subtle and impressive. The new finish from the WoodPrint Duo TechnologyTM family showcases various circular and linear patterns, reminiscent of the elegance of an oak wood grain. For the first time in North America, a texture imitating fabric is specially created for melamine panels and highlights the colours chosen for this texture: the Calico finish. Imitating linen, it proposes the versatility and the luxury of a real smooth woven material. ‘’The subtle passing of interlocked textile fibers accentuates the relief of the décor and gives a flexible and malleable look. The intertwining lines soften the linear effect of the fabric and creates a rich structure that lends depth to the décors’’ says Ms. Christina Lambert, Product Manager. The third new finish pushing the limits of thermally fused laminate (TFL) is the Sequoia finish, characterized by a deep-embossed relief that gives an exceptional 3D tactile effect. The depth of the texture gives the colour a structure and makes the finish so unique.
The new products will be exhibited at booth #2533. Join Uniboard’s Facebook community to discover colour trends, new textures, materials and interior design
