Austrian wood-based panels manufacturer at the IWF 2016 in Atlanta

The IWF takes place from 24th to 27th August 2016 in Atlanta (USA). EGGER, the wood-based panels manufacturer, is presenting PerfectSense lacquered panels in gloss and matt, Feelwood synchronised pore surfaces, laminates with a colored core and EGGER decor and material match. The trade fair appearance should convince American attendees of the high product quality which EGGER has to offer.

The IWF 2016 (International Woodworking Fair) is globally one of the most important trade fairs for furniture and interior design, as well as for wood processing. From 24th to 27th August 2016, EGGER will also exhibit at the trade fair in Atlanta (Hall A/Stand 1649). "As an American trade fair, the IWF provides the perfect stage for us to present our products to the furniture industry, fabricators, specialist distributors and architects. We are able to demonstrate European trends there, as well as cater for American furniture and interior design trends," explains Georg Prager, Sales & Marketing Director Overseas at EGGER.

High-gloss, matt, striking
The wood-based panels manufacturer is bringing products from its own distributor collection to Atlanta. EGGER's PerfectSense product category was already presented in May 2015 and was met with approval. The lacquered panels in gloss and matt are much more than a conventional thermally fused laminated MDF panel: They are manufactured using a sophisticated lacquering process that is applied with precision to the surface. PerfectSense Gloss offers an exceptional depth effect and smooth surface. In contrast, PerfectSense Matt feels warm and velvety, and also stands out thanks to its anti fingerprint properties.

EGGER meets the need for naturalness and authenticity with its Feelwood synchronised pore surfaces. The deep structure, which is sometimes very striking, is perfectly synchronised with the grain pattern of the matching wood decor.

Laminates with a coloured core can be used where a seamless colour is required, without any visible edges or joints. This solid-colour look is achieved through a multilayer structure made of decor papers impregnated in the same colour.

Get it all out of one hand – EGGER decor and material match
At the IWF, EGGER will particularly focus on decor and material match. This means: A wide range of decors are available on various core materials, from classic thermally fused laminate particle boards and MDF panels right through to Eurolight lightweight panels or compact laminate. In addition to this, EGGER also offers edging that perfectly matches the decor and texture. There is no need to compromise during the design phase. "When they come to us, customers can get everything out of one hand: matching decors, surfaces and edging. This decor and material match is our unique selling point, even in the USA," says Georg Prager.
