Tyra Cunningham has been named Vice President and General Manager of Doug Mockett & Company, a worldwide supplier of furniture components, it was announced May 5 by Doug Mockett, founder of the eponymous firm.

It is with great honor we appoint only the second Vice President in our 35-plus year history, Tyra has well earned her position?, said Mockett while making the announcement.

Ms. Cunningham was previously Manager of Customer Service. She will retain that role while expanding her duties into general management.

She is a 17 year veteran of the Company, beginning in 2000 as a Customer Service representative.

A native of Los Angeles, she served in Korea in the U.S. Army.

She has a BA degree in Management and will shortly begin studies for an MA.
