Interprint Aspen Burl at IWFIn a statement to the press today, Peter Stasiowski, director of communications for Interprint USA, reported the company’s décor presentation and 25-year anniversary party at the IWF trade show in Atlanta last week was well received by customers and suppliers alike.

According to the release, the Hampton Inn again served as an effective location to give the market a glimpse into the future of décor, while The Glenn Hotel’s rooftop lounge provided a memorable setting for the celebration of an impressive milestone.

With in-house laser engraving in full operation on both sides of the Atlantic, Interprint designers presented décor that breaks new ground in scale and motion. “We proved that laser engraving has opened doors that can take the industry in entirely different directions,” said Interprint USA Design Director Peter Garlington. “Our ‘Motion’ décor, for example, would not be as convincing without high-resolution engraving.”

A celebration of Interprint’s 25th year in business relied on its first year, 1985, for the theme. “We wanted to thank our customers and suppliers, and at the same time have a little fun,” said Interprint Managing Director, Bill Hines. With clear skies and a breathtaking view of the downtown Atlanta skyline as a backdrop, the year 1985 was brought back to life:  a vintage Macintosh welcomed the attendees, while an Atari video game system kept them entertained. Pop Rocks candy, music videos and a variety of 1980s memorabilia contributed to a vibe that lasted late into the evening.

If “today” is defined as the intersection of yesterday and tomorrow, a history worth celebrating and a future with limitless opportunity pointed to Interprint as the place to be during IWF 2010.
