Stiles Machinery Inc. is pleased to announce they have appointed Robert J. Kostelnik as Technical Manager for Stiles Finishing Technologies.

Bob Kostelnik has over 40 years of experience in the industrial wood finishing industry. After six years in the laboratory as a formulating chemist of wood coating, Bob moved into the field of technical service, and then various sales and marketing management positions in the coating industry. He started his first UV line for wood finishing in California in the early ‘70s, and in 1981 founded HK Research, a manufacturer of wood coatings and polyester gel coats. Bob added machine applications to his chemical background, when he worked for Stiles Machinery from 1997 to 2002.

Stiles is pleased to welcome Bob back to the Stiles team as an experienced resource with an extensive background in finishing and his particular emphasis on high-tech coatings. He will be based out of the company’s High Point, NC regional office, which also houses the finishing laboratory.
