Stiles Machinery announced its decision to exhibit at AWFS®Fair. “We have not participated in the major trade shows for the past two years, and we are excited to reunite with the industry in Las Vegas this summer," said Steve Waltman (left), vice president of Stiles. Waltman noted the cost/benefit ratio to attend this trade show is positive and the company is optimistic that a return on its investment will be achieved. "AWFS has been a proven sales platform for decades and we look forward to meeting many of our customers at the 2011 show,” he said.
Stiles’ decision to take a break from the major shows for the past two years enabled the company to better serve their customers on an individual basis. In 2010, Stiles hosted more than 100 educational programs and regional technology events that brought the latest developments directly to the company's customer base. Now at the beginning of 2011, Stiles has decided that it makes commercial sense to return to AWFS this summer. “There are enough positive signs to be optimistic that the U.S. economy is well into recovery, and our customers will be more inclined to travel to a major trade show,” Waltman said. “At AWFS we will be prepared to discuss strategies to help manufacturers ramp up their capacity to meet the increasing demands for their products.”
The Stiles exhibit at AWFS will be among the largest in size at this summer’s show, and the company intends to showcase a fully functional Homag work cell to simulate a complete manufacturing environment as well as solid wood machines from its Kentwood and Ironwood product lines. The display will also include representative technology that can be utilized by all sizes of manufacturing facilities. Stiles will staff its booth with a team of experts who will be available to meet one-one-one with show attendees.
Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich., Stiles is recognized as an industry-leading organization with its pulse on the global business climate, in part due to their representation of over 40 of the most respected machinery manufacturers in the world. Stiles’ business philosophy is to help customers take care of their businesses. The company will continue cultivating the industry through individual relationships with its customers, including those who will join them at the AWFS®Fair this summer.
