Stiles Machinery launched the Weeke Vantech Video Contest on July 1, calling contestants to submit a creative video showing why they should win by September 10. Stiles is seeking a first-time CNC router user, and all videos will be posted on YouTube. Voting will remain open until October 1.

The winner will receive the CNC machine and a camcorder to document online experiences with the router. The Vantech 480 has a sales value of $69,900, and Stiles will ship it, install it and train the winner. 

“We want other companies to see what’s involved in using this technology and the importance of ongoing support services as well as to see how versatile and flexible the Weeke Vantech is,” says Stiles vice president of sales and marketing, Stephen Waltman. “There is really no end to how effective a shop can be when using a quality CNC router. Using video in this creative fashion is a unique approach in our industry. I hope people will have some fun with it.”
