Decor printer Interprint GmbH, Arnsberg / Germany, expands its Board of Directors. From March 21, 2011 Frank Schumacher and Holger Dzeia will be joined by Robert Bierfreund as new Managing Director Operations of Interprint GmbH. Furthermore as COO (Chief Operating Officer) for Interprint Group he will take over functional responsibility for manufacturing and engineering at all Interprint locations worldwide. At the same time Frank Schumacher will be appointed Representative of the Board of Directors of Interprint GmbH.

Robert Bierfreund, 46, is married with two children (21 and 17 years old). He is an internationally experienced manager and reputed technical expert with profound knowledge of rotogravure printing. Following his degree in Electrical Engineering he was responsible for different areas at Bertelsmann Arvato AG, e. g. production engineering, repro, engraving and manufacturing in Spain.

From 2004 to 2006 he served as Director of Operations at rotogravure printer Broschek in Hamburg. Subsequently he returned to Arvato as Director of Operations for Mohn media. In 2008 he assumed overall responsibility as Managing Director of a printing plant with 600 employees in Barcelona, Spain. From mid 2010 he established and managed the new consulting business unit at Prinovis.
