The Russian Cartel Authority FAS officially approved the acquisition of all shares in OOO Coveright RUS by Interprint GmbH, thus formally completing the purchase. The company is one of the leading manufacturers of melamine films in the Russian market and will in future do business under the name OOO Interprint Samara.

Interprint acquired OOO Coveright RUS from the Coveright Surfaces Group and its joint-venture partner Jacobs Trading Ltd. in July 2010. The transaction had been subject to the approval by the Russian Cartel Authority.

A long-term know-how licence agreement ensures that Interprint Samara will continue to produce its entire product range without restrictions and is well-prepared for future market requirements. The high quality standard expected by customers in Russia and the CIS countries is therefore guaranteed.
